We are excited to announce that registration for the 2020 OHDSI APAC Symposium is now open! This virtual two-day event which will take place December 5-6, will highlight three ways our APAC community collaborates together: Learning, Sharing and Doing!

Our 1st OHDSI APAC Symposium will feature everything that makes our event an annual highlight for so many community members, including plenary sessions, regional chapter breakout and the Collaborator Showcase, where we will bring our APAC community together to collaboratively generate real-world evidence on an important healthcare issue.

The OHDSI APAC Symposium is for both community veterans and newcomers who are interested in learning more about our network. Please continue to check the OHDSI website and the OHDSI social platforms periodically for updates as we plan for a rewarding, online event!

CONFERENCE FEES: This year there will be no fees to attend any of our two-day, virtual events.

2020 APAC Collaborators Showcase

We are excited to announce that we are now accepting submissions for this year’s online APAC Collaborators Showcase!

OHDSI’s mission is to improve health, by empowering a community to collaboratively generate the evidence that promotes better health decisions and better care. We envision a world in which observational research produces a comprehensive understanding of health and disease. To achieve this goal, the OHDSI team has formed a multi-stakeholder, interdisciplinary collaboration that aims to bring out the value of health data through large-scale analytics and open-source software tools. OHDSI has established a global community of observational health researchers and a research network covering over 600 million patients.

OHDSI’s achievements to date would not be possible if not for the hard work of our growing community members. Our APAC collaborator showcase provides Asia Pacific collaborators the opportunity to showcase their tremendous work.

We’ll be inviting collaborators to participate in the collaborator showcase. Collaborators will have the opportunity to submit their work for poster presentations.

THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACTS IS Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Topics of interest include:
– Observational data standards and management
– Methodological research
– Open-source analytics development
– Clinical research from OHDSI’s analytic use cases:
– Clinical characterization
– Population-level estimation
– Patient-level prediction
