OHDSI China Working Group
Objective
The overall goal of this WG is to promote healthcare observational studies in China through data science and informatics approaches. More specifically, we want to:
- Extend and customize OHDSI data science approaches (e.g., standards, knowledge bases, and software) to Chinese clinical data
- Enable big data-based Investigation of important global healthcare problems by building large observational data networks in China
- Promote international collaboration and education in biomedical informatics

As an initial step, we have formed following sub-groups to kick-off the WG. Specific projects will be defined in each sub-group and we invite the community to contribute to sub-group projects.

2017 OHDSI China WG Annual Conference
To promote the study of big data of clinical medicine in China, to improve the ability of researchers to analyze large-scale medical data, OHDSI China Working Group, together with Zhejiang University, is going to host the 2017 US China Conference on Clinical Data. The conference invited the top experts and scholars from both China and the United States to share with the Chinese colleagues the latest research outcomes on clinical data, such as deep learning, artificial intelligence, data privacy and security, and promote international collaboration, education, and training in biomedical informatics.
