Joshua Ide is a Director of Real World Data at Pfizer, where he focuses on using RWD standards and analytics to enable evidence generation across the drug development life cycle. Previously, Josh held data science and analytics roles at Boehringer Ingelheim’s RWE Analytics Center of Excellence and Johnson & Johnson’s Office of the Chief Medical Officer, supporting RWE study execution, developing scalable analytics pipelines, and advancing methods in pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance. Earlier in his career, Josh worked as a software engineer in financial risk analytics and as an applied research mathematician with the U.S. Department of Defense. He holds a B.S. in mathematics from Shippensburg University, an MBA from Marywood University, an M.S. in applied & computational mathematics from Johns Hopkins University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in applied mathematics at Lehigh University.
