OHDSI Europe Community Calls
Welcome to the OHDSI Europe community call, a new meeting that will be held the second Thursday of each month at 1 pm CET. These calls will provide updates around OHDSI Europe, as well as research presentations, community updates, brainstorm sessions, networking opportunities, and plenty more. Newcomers and veterans alike are all invited to this get-together for the OHDSI Europe community.

The June 2026 OHDSI Europe community focused on oncological studies. It also provided updates and recent publications from the OHDSI Europe community.
The May 2026 OHDSI community reflected back on the 2026 Symposium and also provided newcomers an overview on the OHDSI community. It also provided updates and recent publications from the OHDSI Europe community.
The 2026 OHDSI Europe Symposium will be held April 18-20 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and the April Europe Community Call served as a preview of the event. It also provided updates and recent publications from the OHDSI Europe community.
The first Europe community call of 2026 focuses on TeamPerMed and Umbrella & PREPARE, current European projects using OMOP.
The Dec. 2025 Europe Community Calls focused on a trio of vocabulary initiatives:
- Semiautomatic mapping of a national drug terminology to standardised OMOP drug concepts using publicly available supplementary information (Agota Meszaros)
- Introducing the Belgian vocabulary team (Freija Descamps)
- On RxNorm Extension and how to a vocab in it (Anna Ostropolets)
The Nov. 13 Europe Community Call focused on Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). It also highlighted recent publications and other updates.
