2026 OHDSI APAC Symposium

Nov. 13-15 • Yonsei University • Seoul, Korea

The 2026 OHDSI APAC Symposium will take place at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. This will be a 3-day event, kicking off on Friday, Nov. 13 with the main conference. Tutorials and the datathon will take place Saturday, Nov. 14. Datathon team activities and presentations will be held Sunday, Nov. 15.

Registration will open soon!

The main conference will cover five sessions, each with specific topics. More information can be found at the agenda described below.

Hands-on tutorials will provide a structured introduction to the OHDSI ecosystem and the OMOP CDM, guiding participants through the end-to-end process of real-world data analysis. The sessions will cover key topics including OHDSI/OMOP fundamentals, CDM structure and vocabulary, ETL process, and population-level estimation, as well as approaches to interpreting results. These tutorials are designed to equip participants with practical skills and a solid foundation for conducting OHDSI-based studies.

The collaborative datathon will offer participants the opportunity to apply these skills in a team-based, real-world research setting. This event will leverage the MIMIC-IV database to enable participants to work with high-quality, real-world clinical data. The Tutorial and Datathon sessions will be conducted concurrently in separate venues, as parallel sessions, allowing participants to fully engage in their selected program.

Participation for the datathon will be limited to up to 50 registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants will be selected and divided into 10 teams, each working on a specific research topic.

Registration is available with online payment via our official platform; fees will be processed in KRW, and participants are advised to check with their financial institutions regarding any applicable currency conversion fees. Click ‘Register Me’ tab and find further details
