Lead Scientist
Department of Big Data and Personalized Surgery (DPS), Center for Surgical Science (CSS)

I am a senior scientist at the Center for Surgical Science (CSS) in Region Zealand, Denmark, working on health data integration and analysis for more than a decade.

I acquired a wide range of skills during my studies with two master degrees, in oncology and in bioinformatics, as well as a PhD in systems biology from Sorbonne University. My focuses are health data integration, especially OMICs data, health data analysis combining classical statistical methods and machine learning approaches. I worked on many European programs with clinical trials producing a vast panel of data, including OMICs at the Pitié-Salpétrière Hospital (CompuVac, Clinigene, LabEx Transimmunom…).

I recently joined the CSS to lead bioinformatics at the Department of Big Data and Personalized Surgery (DPS). DPS is a medical department aiming at bringing personalized medicine to the bedside by developing methodologies and tools for decision-support to the clinical actors. We are using OMOP as the common data model for the incredibly rich and organized Danish data scene and deploying ATLAS in research and clinical environments.
