Alexandros Rekkas is a PhD student under the co-supervision of Dr. Peter R. Rijnbeek and Dr. David Van Klaveren at the Medical Informatics Department of Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam. His position is shared with the Biomedical Data Sciences department of Leiden University Medical Center. He is a member of the Health Data Sciences group led by Dr. Rijnbeek (healthdatascience.nl). His research focuses on risk-based assessment of treatment effect heterogeneity in observational data.
He holds a MSc in Statistics from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and a BSc in Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
