Graduate Research Assistant
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston
I have a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics. I’m doing my Ph.D. and working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Biomedical Informatics. My research focuses on natural language processing and text mining on Electronic Health Records and biomedical literature. I’m also taking MBA courses at Rice University focusing on corporate finance and Entrepreneurship.
I’m working as Houston Editor-in-Chief at this company named HIT180.com, which is a Chinese Online Media, similar to the HealthcareITnews.com in the US. We write news about Healthcare IT trends, policies and innovation companies. We are the only one in China focusing on Health IT news. I’m also serving as the HIMSS Innovation Committee member starting from Aug 1st, 2018.
