The 2025 OHDSI Global Symposium is one month away (register here), and we will go through the full three-day agenda so you know everything happening Oct. 7-9 in New Brunswick, N.J. This will include highlighting Collaborator Showcase posters/demos/talks, discussions on tutorials and workgroup activities, and a look at the plenaries for the main conference.

Nominations for the 2025 Titan Awards are open for only one more day, so please share your nominations now. The Titan Awards recognize OHDSI collaborators (or collaborating institutions) for their contributions towards OHDSI’s mission; they are nominated and voted upon by members of the community; please send your nominations before the Sept. 9 (8 pm ET) deadline.
• The OHDSI community will lead multiple sessions during the 2025 United Nations Science Summit on Thursday, Sept. 18. The 8:30 am ET session and the 11:00 am ET session will both be available online, and speakers for each are listed on their specific session pages.
• The latest edition of the OHDSI newsletter is now available. The September On The Journey includes details from the recent session on LLM innovations, Global Symposium updates, a new collaborator spotlight, August publications and presentations, community updates and more. If you don’t receive the newsletter in your inbox, you can subscribe here.

• Registration for the 2025 Global Symposium including tutorials and workgroup meetings is now open! On Oct. 7th there will be an introductory tutorial during the morning session, and five advanced tutorials during the afternoon session. The plenary plus collaborator showcase will take place on Oct. 8th followed by the workgroup meetings on Oct. 9th.

The first-ever 2025 OHDSI Africa Symposium will be held Nov. 10-12 in Kampala, Uganda, and registration is open. The abstract submission deadline will be Sept. 10. Agenda details will be shared when available.
The 2025 OHDSI Asia-Pacific Symposium will be held Dec. 6-7 in Shanghai, China. The abstract submission deadline will be August 25. More details will be shared when available.
