Nicole is a biostatistician and Deputy Director the Quality Use of Medicines and Pharmacy Research Centre, University of South Australia and a chief investigator on the Centre of Research Excellence on Post-market Surveillance of Medicines and Medical Devices. Nicole is responsible for evaluating the quality use of medicines program: Veterans’ Medicines Advice and Therapeutics Education Service (Veterans’ MATES). Veterans’ MATES uses administrative claims data to develop and evaluate interventions to improve use of medicines in the veteran community in Australia. Nicole is also a member of the Drug Utilisation Sub-Committee (DUSC) of the Australian Government Department of Health Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee. She is a collaborator of the Asian Pharmacoepidemiology Network (AsPEN) (www.aspennet.asia).
